Driving license by mail?
I'm currently in the process of getting my driver's license and had to apply for a driver's permit. That was quite a while ago now.
So my question is, do you get something sent to you about your driving license or do you even get it yourself?
So far, no one has answered this question, which is why I am asking it here
Those who did not make the B17 driver's license at the time of the driving test and are not yet fully annual will actually be sent the driver's license. However, there is also a wizard from the driver, from which it emerges. With this you go to the driving license authority and get the driving license yourself.
If he gets sent, it can be that before the birthday – or in other cases before the driving ban – depending on the driver's license, it doesn't change anything that you can still not drive yourself. This is important to know because there are always those who think they are allowed to drive when the driving license is there. But it's not like that.
The reasons why it may happen that will be sent earlier lie on the date. For example, if the birthday is on a Saturday or Sunday, the driver's license is usually on the last working day so Friday is there. The same applies to holidays.
If the application is submitted, it takes about 2 to 12 weeks… you get an invoice from the Tüv, or the driving school says that the application is "through"… only then you can enter a test.
The FS office will only report if they still need documents.
If you have applied for the driving permit, you or your driving school should be informed about whether you are allowed to test.
Then you can arrange an appointment for the theoretical and practical examination.
When you pass the exams, the examiner will press the box or the pink wipe directly into your hand.
