Driving license as identification document for train travel?

I have a train journey ahead of me where I have to confirm that these tickets belong to me with an ID

The tickets only have my name on them, nothing else. Do you think my student ID, driver's license and AOK card would be enough?
It won't work with my passport.

Do you think I'll have problems with this? I also have the tickets on the app and email confirmations.
I hope that it will work with my student ID, driver's license and AOK card since it is a train journey from Stuttgart to Dortmund.

Unfortunately not.

As the ticket is issued to the person indicated at the time of booking, this person must present an official identification document when checking on the train.

The following identification documents are approved in the course of control on the train:

European or German identity card
German or international passport
Children's passport
electronic residence permit
Certificate of notification of asylum seekers (BüMa)
BahnCard (in conjunction with a photo ID)

Not applicable: driving license, student ID, military ID, birth certificate and severely disabled ID.

Basically, everything you have listed is not an official ID document. Even the driving license is not seen as such in Germany.

In the end, you start from the goodwill of the conductor.

As a rule, you do not need an identification document because in most cases the train attendants or the train guides (if one is there, which is always the case in the course of the train) do not ask for it and the mere showing of the ticket is sufficient.

In Germany, according to the Ministry of Interior, the passport and the identity card are considered to be official identity documents. Driving license, health insurance card and student ID not. Nevertheless, if you are asked to do so, one of these documents should be sufficient. There should be no problems. As others have already written, the DB states that the documents you have mentioned are not valid, but in the normal case the Zub or Zf lets this pass.

Then I wonder why you don't just take your ID?!

Then, if you don't have a new one, please take the old one with you and if you're asked for your ID, show the train companion that expired and explain to him that you have already applied for a new one (provided you have requested a new one) and that has expired yesterday and whether that's ok or you should show him your driver's license.

This should not be a problem, except the Zub has an extremely bad day, but as I said in the normal case, you will not be asked for it.

driving license

but no ID????

No driving license goes without.

An expired ID card is a minor issue than no ID card.

Of course you can, why not?

Then take the passport.

A ticket control is not a border control, and even in many cases an expired document is still accepted.

It is important that you have one of the accepted documents (see above) and can prove your identity.

Discontinued perso/passes are not perso/passes. This works, especially since you are not always asked about it.

If you need to show up for the ticket, the three IDs will not be enough.
