Drive C is always full (partition)?
I want to free up unnecessary storage space on my C drive and found about 20 GB of free (healthy) recovery partition in Disk Management. Unfortunately, I can't click on it or make any changes. I want to add the storage space to C. How do I do that?
Buy a new SSD with 500GB, knock the old one on the new and boot with the new one. This is with the PartitionManager. Then you don’t need to make such climbs.
If you tell me I don’t care if the data is gone because the PC craves you must add de partition to C via the disk management. However, all settings are lost.
But that would be a huge risk. Better connect a 2nd hard drive in or an external one.
Are your 92 GB currently free, or is this a 100 GB FP? What a curious value would be.
Instead of shattering any partitions created by the operating system and otherwise using it, you should first dispose of data waste from the partitions you use.
Already used the disk cleaning and used the advanced options? Here you will find various entries that will otherwise be unconsidered. Especially the Windows update packages that can be removed there, which remain in a hidden directory after downloading and installation and thus consume massive storage space with time.
SSD's are so absurdly cheap at the moment, you can put it on.
why?
There is an oversupply of NAND flash memories
Computer chips used for hard disks.
Can you tell me what NAND Flash means?
Let another question…
How big is your entire store, if you would even be willing to sacrifice the restoration partition because of lavish 20GB?
92,1 GB
Ouch…
Why don’t you just build another record? If there are only 92GB in total.
I have a drive D where there are 1 TB
My drive C where you are Systemdrauf has unfortunately only the 92 GB but according to the lotion you would add 20 GB if it goes. Other attempts such as data carrier processing and etc I tried but it does not work.
I keep getting updates that make my memory full. I think it could be that the old updates are not automatically deleted and thus the garbage accumulates
If I hear from such a small plate, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a very old part that doesn’t fit a new plate. x)
