Dresden breakfast in a cafe or something similar?

Hi, Is there a cafe or similar place in Dresden near the Terrassenufer pier or in Cotta where you can have a good, inexpensive breakfast? Hidden insider tip? Thank you

Unfortunately, I'm not from Dresden. However, you could have asked my mother, who sadly passed away. She came from this area.

I can only think of two that I have visited often as a local.

ALEX Dresden with a very good breakfast buffet (for just under 13 €)
MAX Dresden

Both are just a few meters away from the Terrassenufer and are close to the Zwinger and the Residenzschloss, respectively. You'll need to allow about a 10-minute walk from the Terrassenufer.

Alternatively, you can also go to the coffee house in the Italian village right next to the Semper Opera House. The atmosphere is great and the coffee is delicious. The breakfast, however, is sometimes mediocre. We've had some really delicious ones, but we've also had unseasoned scrambled eggs 😉 It partly depends on the day, and I remember it being quite expensive.
