Speed-dependent rattling?

Good morning,

following question:

I drive a Seat Leon FR (2.0 TSI 211PS) from 2012. For some time now I have been hearing a clattering noise coming from the engine compartment. This clattering is dependent on the engine speed and cannot be heard when idling. This clattering seems to be getting louder over time. The last oil change was at 92,000 km. The vehicle has now run about 107,000 km. During this time I topped up about 450 – 600 ml of oil. When I checked again today the dipstick still showed oil just below the minimum. So I topped up another 350 ml today to get it back between the minimum and maximum levels. In the meantime I went to a car repair shop to have the clattering assessed. Two mechanics either couldn't hear anything at all or blamed the exhaust. However, a timing chain clattering could be ruled out. The next inspection is scheduled for two weeks. Still, I have a bad feeling about the noise.

Maybe one of you has had a similar problem and can help.

Thank you!

About 15,000 km 1.5 liters of oil consumption is not yet dramatic, and for a TSI engine of the VAG group sensationally little, but shows that the engine begins to swallow. If the crucible does not come from the control chain, but is produced in the engine, it can come from the pistons or the connecting rod bearings. Or from the light engine, the air-conditioning compressor, the V-belt tensioner, …

Without having heard the sound, it cannot be estimated, and since there can be many causes, it does not use anything to know why another engine has made noises.

Do you like to fly very quickly and turn up the engine? They can be a valve game that you can hear at speed when the valve play is no longer correct
