DPD delivery problems?
I ordered a package from England (worth about €1,000) and it was shipped with DPD. The tracking says it arrived on January 12th, but that wasn't the case. No one rang the bell, and there's no card for pickup at a parcel shop. The next day, the DPD driver rings the bell briefly and drives off without waiting (again, without a card or anything else). DPD Service Germany can't find anything under my tracking number, and DPD England hasn't responded yet. How do I get my package now without it being sent back to England?
Only the consignor can order a search at DPD. nix, all the creative documents–emails express– and thus march to consumer advice. While a few €, it is the only effective way.
According to my personal experience, DPD deliveries from GB have been introduced via the Netherlands from the EU since the GB label. The customs duty is also carried out there. You should immediately receive a notification of import duties and DPD fees.
