Hello Nill (still 😉), Thank you for your question!

I was actually lucky that my female doctor took me directly and could direct my symptoms. Unfortunately, this is usually not the case. Many people report that they are not taken seriously or only very late; on average you wait 7 years for a diagnosis.

After the diagnosis, I am usually taken seriously, and now there are people who do not seem to believe in the disease and its seriousness.

I hope that answers your question!

Since I am still alive, misdiagnoses are unfortunately going on and there.

Once, it took years until I could clarify something in my favor.

Once there was an MRI that was right, other times other doctors.

I can only answer your second question: many. Unfortunately, there are many people here who always know everything better and know the others better than the one himself.
