Double track markings, which one should I wait at?

Hey, I hardly ever take the train (the last time was three years ago), and on Monday of all days, I have to go again. My ICE 843 arrives at Dortmund Central Station at 6:43 on platform 8, but which one? The left or the right?

The picture is a map of Dortmund Central Station. And with such confusing planning, they want more train travel?

It's a track, only the access happens over the middle. Either as a transition or (probably) as an underpass.

The track is divided into sections: A, B, C, D, E, F, G.

If you have a reservation, you can see at the track on the plan in which section your place will be, so that you don't have to slip through the train forever (which would be possible). You can stand anywhere on track 8, everything will be the same train.

He's on the track. So it doesn't matter which side you're going to, so short the train isn't.

On the platform there is also a car stand indicator (billboard), you can even check which car holds directly in the middle of the railroad, and where, for example, the food trolley is.

Only tracks 1 to 6 are on one side only.

These are continuous tracks and continuous platforms, on the plan there is only an incision in the middle to also show the plane below.

And with such a confused planning you want to drive more train?.

No, you don't.

No, but maybe there's a course offer for people who can't read plans.

The tracks are continuous and in the middle is a lower guide. Or do you mean stairways are built for fun?

on track 8, but what?

WHAT?! I don't understand your problem. There's exactly one track 8. It's marked with large plates, there's a "8" on it. There you go. Ready.

And with such a confused planning you want to drive more train?…

I think the problem here is not the confused planning…
