I’ve spent a long time in both countries. In terms of culture, Thailand has much more to offer However, Phuket is far from the cultural centers. But Phuket also has many tempwls and other facilities that are mainly not because of the tourists there, but belong to the daily life of the Thais. For example, there is also a huge Buddha on a mountain. And some museums.

What is interesting above all is the combination of culture, landscape and people. The Dominican Republic also has a very varied landscape.

In Pattaya we have been very often, but what do you understand under culture?

Of course, Pattaya is interesting in itself, but there is not much of culture there. You have to go to the surrounding area to get to know the culture, such as the River Kwai Bridge, Ayutthaya, Bangkok the Royal Palace, etc.
