Does the PC automatically connect to the LAN connection (Internet)?

I moved, and my PC automatically connected to the Internet (I plugged in the LAN cable). Is this 100% certain that the PC is actually getting access from the LAN cable I plugged in and not, for example, an open Wi-Fi network? I didn't have to enter a password or anything like that.

And also: If I have a 5G option for Wi-Fi once and one without 5G, I automatically get the faster connection for LAN, right?

Maybe a stupid question, but I need a quick answer 🙂

Lan Needs a password. That’s not a radio. That’s a cable you can’t just pin it on like Wlan.

And Lan is always faster than Wlan.

LAN always connects independently without password. Wi-Fi is a bit worse from the ping and more susceptible to interference, but otherwise it can even be faster than LAN.

comes to the settings of your router and, with you it seems to connect yourself, your pc shouldn’t connect to random wlan networks, you can be credible in the settings but also quite exhibit, so wlan simply exhibit and /or forget all wlan net works

> And again: If I have a 5G option as a W-Lan and once without 5G, I automatically get the faster connection right for LAN?
yes. Usually this regulates your pc by itself

yes, for WLAN. But the LAN connection can only be switched on/off in the router – nothing else.
