Does something that has been completed continue as life in a dream?

When we start something new, such as a new apartment, new school, new job, etc. and end it at some point, e.g. moving, changing jobs, etc.

Example scenario:

  • Person XY moves to school XY in 1994 and starts 5th grade.
  • Person XY graduates from secondary school in 2000 at school XY
  • After the last day of school, School XY continues in dreams as life.
  • In 2001, person XY starts school in a dream (school XY as life)
  • In 2012, person XY completed his secondary school diploma in a dream at an alternative school. (School XY as life)
  • In 2013, person XY completes an apprenticeship in a dream (school XY as life)
  • In 2015, person XY takes a final exam in a dream and is hired by the company. (School XY as life)

etc.

So that in the dream something continues in the form of a life, even if it is long over.

What are your experiences? Have you had such dreams, and do they exist? If you did, how did they go?

No. With dreaming, our brain processes experiences and things that we employ during the day. So to speak, the brain is “cleaned” and a bit of chaos and confusion is eliminated overnight. Otherwise, dreams have no meaning and the dream is therefore usually not continued in life.

If it were, I’d have to have a totally crazy life with the nonsense I often dream.
