Does smoking weed make you unattractive?
I looked at several pictures of stoners or junkies and had the feeling that these people had nothing left in their heads or mentally and they looked really messed up.
So can we assume that smoking weed will destroy you or is that a fallacy?
I think it's good that you don't just surrender to cognitive distortion without question. That's what I believe it is. There are millions of cannabis users in Germany alone. This cuts across all social classes. Cannabis users are as individuals as society as a whole.
If you become addicted (whether to cannabis, alcohol, or something else), then yes. But smoking weed itself doesn't have to "break you." As long as you don't consume it too often, everything's fine, in my opinion. Patients are, of course, excluded from this.
No, it is not a fallacy
Although smoking weed is extremely harmful and even more harmful than cigarettes and tobacco, it is not immediately obvious to people.
However, if a person is under the influence of drugs, it is clearly visible.
This usually normalizes when the actual effect of the drug wears off.
However, it is common knowledge that just a few joints are enough to cause irreversible brain damage in young people.
As for the harmful potential of combustion products, they are, depending on the substance in question, 5 to 20 times higher than cigarettes and tobacco. This has been demonstrated by studies from Canada, Switzerland, and New Zealand.
I can't really say much about it since I don't smoke weed myself or know anyone who does. Every now and then it won't do any harm, but once it starts to happen more and more often, it will definitely wear you down over a longer period of time.
One in three Germans has smoked marijuana at some point. 10% "probably" smoke marijuana fairly regularly. Sit down in a cafe on the high street, drink a coffee, and try to identify who the smokers are. Then you'll realize that with normal use, it doesn't change your appearance any more than alcohol, cigarettes, a vegan diet, or eating meat.
Comparing a stoner with a junkie is like comparing a politician with a user from an internet forum
And no, addiction is not necessarily recognizable, it can be clearly visible or virtually non-existent.
Fallacy.
Anyone who equates 'potheads' with 'junkies' seems to be out of their mind.
