Does sending messages cost money? iMessage?
As far as I know, a message costs money if the message is green. My girlfriend has an iPhone, and so do I, but somehow the message was still green when we sent it to each other. Does that cost money now? I also wrote to my sister via iMessage before, but her messages were blue.
Green means SMS, in most mobile rates SMS are free, so you probably didn’t pay anything. iMessage goes over the internet and is therefore always free.
If iMessage doesn’t go, you can activate it in the messages settings, both have to do it. There you can also set which number or email the iMessages should be sent.
So that’s the money or not? because in a friend of mine the color blue is green at the other
no, as I have written, iMessage(blue) is always free as this goes via the Internet.
SMS(green) cost something in rare cases, depending on what kind of fare you have.
Since iOS 18, you can also use RCS(green) if this is supported by the mobile provider, this is also always free.
