Roaccutane is the trade name for the active ingredient isotretinoin . This is used primarily for treating acne.

Roaccutane can cause various side effects. Very often (over 10% of all consumers affected) are:

  • Dryness of the skin and the mucous membranes
  • Lipitis
  • Inflammation of eyes and lips
  • Eye irritation
  • dry eyes
  • Skin infection
  • Skin redness
  • Skin scaling
  • Itching
  • increased vulnerability of the skin (risk of mustaches)
  • Joint and muscle weights
  • Back pain
  • Blood arrogance (anemia) and other blood count changes

Followed by numerous other potentially undesirable effects, which occur somewhat less frequently.

Roaccutane does not change the personality, at least not directly. However, numerous cases of consumers are known. in which depressive symptoms manifested which were triggered and/or favored by the drug. Someone who has depressive symptoms has changed or different although his personality has not changed in the core. In such cases, a doctor should be contacted urgently.
