The software has nothing to do with the LEDs. Any LED can burn out under excessive temperatures. Some are more susceptible than others. The brighter the displayed color and the longer it glows continuously, the more likely this is to happen.

This has nothing to do with the software used to set the lighting.

With Wise Auto Shutdown (software) you can easily set a shutdown time without any cmd knowledge.

However, knowledge of mathematics is a prerequisite.

I have no idea what RGB and Open RGB are. But back then, I had my PC running for five weeks at a time while I was at work or traveling.

It's better to wait a few seconds until the download is complete and then shut down your PC. Nothing else makes sense.
