Does Netflix charge extra if I create multiple profiles?

Hello gutefrage Community,

Netflix wants €5 more per person who doesn't live in the same household. But I'm not entirely sure when that applies.

For example, if there are four people in one household—mother, father, and two children—can each have their own Netflix account? Or does that cost extra, and do we have to watch on the same account to avoid paying extra?

Thanks in advance and best regards.

If you live in a household, you can also create 4 profiles. It should only cost extra if you don’t live together, but I can still look without problems with my mother’s account, even though we live in different federal states.

Locking randomly simple devices. It may be that you can still watch over cell phone and then suddenly no longer or anything. Then your mother would have to confirm that she’s on vacation right now. Registration is allowed on holiday. The code lasts about 2 months.

If you live in an apartment together, that is always allowed. It doesn’t cost extra.

Do not have a TV anyway and watch my iPad anyway.

But the question was how it is in a household.
