Does meat from the counter have different fat content/nutritional values?
I'm currently watching my calories closely and want to get meat from a Turkish store because it's a bit cheaper. However, I've heard that the fat content in ground beef might be higher at the counter than in the traditional packaged mince (80/20), because they somehow add more fat. But with chicken wings and things like that, I don't have to worry, right?
Greetings
When it comes to meat: Not significant. And, above all, not measurable relevant for the recovery by our organism.
Hi the classic pack can be stretched with water, at the counter there is no water in there, at chickens you should be careful because of penicillin and antibiotics where to be administered to avoid diseases.
Buy meat on the counter and spin it yourself, then you also know the fat content.
