I borrowed the WLAN adapter from my father, but the manual says to download the driver from the included CD. Neither my father nor I can find the CD. Does anyone have any idea how I can download the driver anyway?

Whenever I test my wifi on different sites, it says at least 20 mpbs, but when I download something in the browser, on Steam or somewhere else without other things in the background, I get a maximum of 2 mpbs and not even 0.5 mpbs in the browser Why? How can I change this?
