Does advertising really influence our purchasing behavior?
When I go shopping and want to purchase a product, I have a wide range of different brands to choose from. Never in my entire life have I chosen a brand based on what I saw in an advertisement on TV or in the newspaper.
If I often see/hear the same advertisement, I eventually become averse to it and will definitely not buy the brand in the store.
How and why do advertisements seem to be so effective in practice?
Advertising does not work, or not only on the conscious level. “I’ve seen this brand/this article on TV, so I buy it” would be a conscious purchase decision. But advertising knows much more subtle methods of influencing.
For example, if someone decides to choose between two similar articles, many will go to the known article. Advertising can have already contributed to the fact that the advertised brand is known, even if buyers have never heard of the brand or seen it except in advertising.
Other approach is the association of an article with positive, pleasant sensations. If this article is now seen in the store, the positive sensation associated with it can also be caused. The fact that this was linked to the article as a result of advertising is then marginal, and not aware. Not for nothing are advertised pretty or seductively giving people articles, a beautiful heile world environment is presented, or other wishes of the target audience are processed.
Consciously avoiding articles in advertising can compensate for such unconscious buyer behavior.
Because many people are undecided and tend to buy spontaneously.
Advertising then implies that the products are “in” and of particular quality.
Often the opposite is the case. Who doesn’t know the advertisements of “cheap” car manufacturers with their small cars?
Funny: Porsche, Lamborghini or Bentley do not need to advertise, yet they are bought by the well-toothed clientele, like stupid…
Other example: Ever seen advertising for gold or silver? No, because you don’t need to be bought anyway. Cheap fashion jewelry is advertised because worthless…
Yes
bad advertising:That’s cheap
Good advertising:The product delivers the best quality, several ways to use, which is a product that fits all well.Hey, the great love or yet only a motherday gift it is an absolute must
HI. Not everyone, but some. Children are the best example here. If a kid sees this on TV, we’ll take an ice cream. And that looks so tasty and you see something crispy refreshing, then it whips until it gets it. And then the parents buy it because they can be changed. These are the tricks of the advertising industry.

A little bit I think it is also often made advertising for a new product that you might not buy at all because you would not pay attention to it.
