Does a Windows reset also reset what you did to the hardware?

Back then, I "overwrote" my hardware ID using a program because of a game ban… since then, I've had the problem that every two minutes, the game freezes for about five seconds…

I would like to undo this, I have been trying to do this for a long time but have not managed to do it yet.

Do you think that if I perform a Windows reset, my hardware ID will return to its original state and my problem will be solved?

You can not change certain hardware freely but only with programs Faken. The hardware changes nothing but only report another hardware to the game.

So if you completely restart the PC, it shouldn’t be a problem anymore.

The error in the game can, however, be traceable to your lock and the anticheat procedure.

my hardware ID “overplayed”

What hardware ID? Do you mean the MAC address of your network card? It’s the same. No matter how often you reinstall Windows.

The IP (if necessary) does not change due to a new installation. There are other possibilities for this.

Many games (with hardware bans) calculate an ID that clearly identifies the hardware. This is calculated from different parameters and the MAC address is only one.

Other sources can be the device IDs from various devices such as hard drives TPM modules etc.
