I realize that tap water is tested incredibly closely—probably much more so than mineral water, but there are hardly any useful minerals in it—which is a shame. Besides, I kind of need the carbonation—otherwise it's too bland.
It's impossible to say that in general terms. It depends very much on the region. Your local water supplier can send you the composition of your tap water free of charge. It's often published on their website.
We get 90% of our minerals from food. You don't need mineral water for that. Most of the time, it's more about taste and habit. Or maybe the belief that it's healthier, so you naturally get used to the taste.
I drink the regional mineral water because I like the taste, because it's really sparkling, and because it's healthy. It also has significantly more minerals than tap water.
Practically always mineral water.

Tap water in Germany is very pure. Ours comes directly from the mountains…
I think it's nonsense to lug water bottles around unnecessarily…
Tap water for my tea which I only drink every day
Both. But mostly tap water. Significantly cheaper and very strictly controlled.
Drinking tap water in Germany has no disadvantages and is definitely the cheapest option.
tap water
Advantage:
Heyho! We always buy still water. Mine has so much limescale that it's virtually impossible to drink (:
A high lime content also means that the amount of treated water is low, meaning a larger proportion of “fresh” water
Ah, okay. It tastes really disgusting, and the water is full of white crumbs.
Eeeeeah, I wouldn't drink that either. Ours tastes great. 😉
That's strange. Limescale actually only settles at high temperatures.
I buy carbonated mineral water because I don't like the taste of our tap water. So, there are no downsides.
I'll buy it.
I only consume tap water…because I am firmly convinced that mineral water in plastic bottles makes you sick and causes cancer….
Besides, it's a fact that thousands of others have drunk from that plastic bottle before you…
Of course the bottle was always cleaned very professionally… but machines and employees can still fail!!
That is also a fact!

Thank you!
No, only still bottled water. Tap water is disgusting.
Funny. If you were served tap water from another region and still water from a brand you don't recognize, you'd never guess which was which.
Both.
