Hello, I'd like to study to become a secondary school English teacher. However, I've heard that to teach English at secondary schools, you need a Latinum (or rather, you have to have studied Latin). Now here's the problem: I've never studied Latin before, and I'm quite glad I did. Would I have to retake Latin to study English? Oh, and I live in Bavaria, if that's helpful in any way.
