Do you need a machine room for a 50-story elevator?

MRL elevators that don't require a machine room have been available for some time. Is a machine room necessary for 50 floors, or can the motor be housed in the shaft? Planned speed: 4-5 meters per second.

As far as I know, there's no real solution for the height and speed you want to race around at without an engine room.

When an elevator is pulled upwards by a motor with a winch, the motor is located on the top floor of the elevator shaft. It makes sense to install the control cabinet outside the shaft, because if the elevator were to get stuck on the top floor, it wouldn't be possible to move it manually using the controls in the control cabinet because then there would be no access to the motor. However, there are shafts that have a side access or hatch at the top, so you can still get to the motor if necessary.
