Do you feel bad mentally when you have little money in your account?
For me, a lot of things revolve around money, and even the smallest expense leaves me racking my brains over whether I need it or not. There's always enough in my account, but I often get so worked up about it that I hope nothing breaks in the near future, that I don't get a big bill, etc. My question would be, do you often look at your account? Do you think a lot about money? Should you only really start worrying if you were unemployed, for example? How do you deal with it, and how do you feel better? 🙂

Being self-sufficient, calculating this is certainly not wrong and it needs a cushion.
Careless begins for me and with satisfaction, because if I can use what is important to me without any problems without ever coming to bald tea.
My luxury is the animals we love and have… a car is a must here where we live and clear the maintenance of the house. That’s why it’s only good if we have at least 20 000 cash in the account.

With us there were before the children who are grown up and are well in life…the animals, the garden, the house remained…our income shrunk in the pension…you should never be satisfied with what you could afford…one is personally happy, one is important without ever coming to the bald tea.

If I get even more money in the short term, I’m totally happy, but a day later I’m worried again… If my wife thinks she wants to go on holiday with friends, I’ll start to reckon and think and even feel bad though I can afford it easy.
I don’t care, it’s coming and going. As long as reserves are present at different levels, I don’t think you have to worry.
I regularly look at my account and expect at the end of the month and at the beginning of the month how much I spent and how much remains in the coming month. I’m very careful of my money. It’s not that I don’t like anything, but I think about it before.
I have a fixed sum that I never underestimated. I have animals and I have to pay the veterinarian at any time. My cat once had a strong poisoning. It cost 1300€. My car has to be repaired at any time, as I don’t get to work without it. The last repair cost 2000€.
They are the unforeseen things that can break the neck very quickly. And then you’re standing there, making debt is absolutely not a question for me. Not even small amounts.
We’ve never had much money on the account, but we’ve always been out. That’s why I’m almost never thinking, especially since I know when to get bigger spending on us. We have a savings account for emergencies.
Who is constantly worried about money and hardly dares to spend what is not happy with a lot of money;-) and who knows if everything is gone at some point?
I’ve had to feel it several times. First DM on MDN of the GDR = 10:1, then MDN of the GDR on M of the GDR = 3:1, in some articles with “goods with increased value” = doubling up to three times the price increase. M of the GDR on DM up to 4000,00 Mark 1:1, the remainder 2:1, insurance 3:1. Then the euro came. Almost 2 DM for one €. Today, prices are higher than DM times, partly twice too high. An end to inflation is not in sight. For what should I put money back when the value of money continues to fall.
Also, only a small “emergency pad”…something better spend everything (we still “financed” our funerals to relieve the children).
