Just online.

I make all the offers look, compare prices etc. but also fun as I am happy when we finally find beautiful bargains.

So I am also more flexible with the goals, often we have several to choose – some more countries, not only places – and then decide spontaneously when we look at what we have found good for what goal we are doing.

Search online, then book in the travel agency 🙂

Then…

  • additional advice (if desired),
  • sometimes there are even more favorable constellations
  • if something unforeseen should happen, you have a contact person directly, instead of being in a completely overloaded hotline

By the way: Prices are not more expensive in the travel agency than online – at least with all our previous travel bookings.

Until a trip we booked everything in the travel agency.

I also book individual hotel accommodation online.

I used to book through the travel agency, unfortunately there is no one with competent advice in my area, so I look into my travel catalogs and then book by phone.

I usually go to the travel agency because the owner has known me for years and knows what I like.

There is also the service.

During Corona 2020, for example, he personally ensured that my then fully booked Japan round trip was canceled in a timely manner and I immediately got my deposit back, while others had to wait for months and/or had to satisfy themselves with only one travel voucher.

I had pointed out that the trip will be guaranteed to be canceled because Japan had imposed an entry stop.

He said he didn't hear anything from the organizer, but then he called "with someone he knows" and a minute later I had my money back and the thing was done. And immediately it remained at the entry stop and the trip would have been canceled anyway. Online I would have landed somewhere in the long waiting list… 🤷 ♂️

Once bad experience with my local travel agency has been made since only online. Since most of the time you were booked on your holiday – last time Mallorca booked on it, everything went smoothly.

More online… but if you want to book a package trip, then I would still think I would go to the travel agency. LG

Never again about travel agency. much too expensive. Since then I prefer to book combination packages for hotels etc. online on pages such as wishing holidays or the like.

They are cheaper and yet reliable

I only book online if I book something – mostly (I speak of camping) I am not dependent on it.

Just online. Have the experience that in the travel agency is sometimes even more expensive.

I was in the travel agency last time in 2005, always online.

If, then online. I book a hotel (directly at the hotel, not via Booking.com) and book a flight on the internet. If the destination is not far away, we drive there by car. I do everything else and I take on my own – for example, I rent a car.

In principle, we go to the travel agency so that we always have a contact person in case of a case.

I've never been to a travel agency. I'm looking for a little accommodation, or a campsite. That's all I need.
