Use of Imperfecto and Indefinido in Spanish?
Dear language enthusiasts among you, Do you understand the difference in the use of these two past tenses in Spanish? I have a history presentation in Spanish class next week, and I'm really confused right now. Since I'm quite good at Latin, I like to compare the two tenses with the imperfect (imperfecto) and the…
Customs clearance of vodka from Russia at the airport, how much?
I'm flying to Moscow soon and wanted to bring some back for friends and acquaintances. I was thinking a little, but not a lot of vodka. You're only allowed to bring 1 liter to Germany. I read, however, that if you declare the goods to customs at the airport, you only have to pay a…
Will I forget what I have learned if I learn something else?
I have a vocabulary test on Friday and an exam next Monday. I already know all the vocabulary and was wondering if I'll forget it again if I learn several hundred new words.

Byrustika
A friend from Turkey is looking for a German-Turkish dictionary (in book form, not an online translator) that includes German words with phonetic transcription, including their German pronunciation. So I speak Russian and something Ukrainian. Let’s say the individual words I understood almost all (up to maybe 5?) as they were like Russian/Ukrainian or similar so that you could easily derive it. I understood prayer and the history of China and dragons so rough but not 100%. You have to listen carefully, you understand.
The conversation in the second video is understood as well as everything. I also understand Polish as halfway as it is similar to Ukrainian.
Speak Czech and understand Slovak and can be a bit Polish. I understand most of this, with some being very misleading, as with stul. Colors and body parts were absolutely no problem. I was able to follow the conversation relatively, a bit difficult, but joa. But believe it would be easier for me if I would also master a non-West Slavic language.
I haven’t listened to everything now, but as a Russian native speaker, I understand as well as everything.
I am from Bosnia and understand as well as everything
Sounds like esperanto in Slavic. Would be surprised if native speakers from one of the Slavic languages understand nothing.
