Do shy people upset others?

I wanted to ask if this was just a coincidence or if it's really like that.

I've always been pretty reserved since kindergarten and in every class I've been in there was always someone who put me down just because I was shy.

Do you think many people feel provoked by introverts?

Yes. It gets on other people's nerves that they don't know where they stand with such people. Shy people often come across as arrogant in their reservedness.

They put you down because you probably don't seem particularly resilient: They took their anger out on someone presumably weaker who didn't fight back. That's what I think.

People don't feel provoked by introverts.

I think some people don't feel provoked by shy people. Rather, they are easy prey or a target for those who feel the need to put them down.
