Do pigeons hold grudges?
I found a pigeon chick three days ago and dropped it off at a pigeon rescue center. Is it possible that the "parents" noticed this and are now sitting in front of my balcony every day, staring into my apartment?

They just want their child.
So it would be possible to find it with me?
I am convinced. I often used to drill stuff from animals I never imagined.
Why did you steal your child, it's not yours. Even if it sits outside the nest, it is not helpless, it is fed by its parents. Shame…
So I didn't steal it from them. There were two options. Either it's going to pass, because it was in the middle of the street. Or option two, it is eaten by cats, or similar. Especially since I did not perceive the pigeon as chicks.
B it could have been that the parents would take care of it, but also there. It was on the street in the middle of the sun. It would not have taken any liquid to itself and it would be dehydrated.
Of course I didn't take the pigeon up out of pleasure and mood. But since they also deserve to live, I decided to help the chick.
Unfortunately, your answer has nothing to do with my question. And I find it a pity that I have to justify myself because I have "helped". Everything else was cleared with the pigeon rescue.
This question was often asked by GF for the last few months and answered that young birds who left the nest should be put to the streets, because they are fed by their parents.
But you have to assess the situation. The chick would not have survived at 36°C in the sun. And on the edge it didn't stay. Unfortunately, that with the feeding is just a condition. Honestly, I don't know how to do it because I don't have much to do with birds. Fact is, the chick needed help. It also hurts me in the soul. I think they're "satisfied." But there were really many options in the situation. I didn't do anything without discussing this first with the animal shelter and then with the pigeon rescue. Thank you.
