Do I still have a chance of completing an apprenticeship despite dropping out several times?
Hello, I'm 26 years old and haven't completed any vocational training or university studies yet. I failed my Abitur exams, then worked full-time for nine months, completed a voluntary social year, and obtained a university of applied sciences entrance qualification. My GPA is 2.7. I then began a business studies program, but dropped out after three semesters. After that, I started an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer, but dropped out after six months because I didn't like the practical part. Since then, I've been working part-time at a bakery.
I have no gaps in my resume, except for six months after failing my high school diploma. I'm currently in therapy to work on my problems.
I would like to know whether, despite these dropouts, I still have a chance of training as an office management assistant, industrial clerk or administrative assistant.
Thank you!
Yes There are always opportunities, especially now in the shortage of skilled workers. A good application letter is advantageous.
I think you can, if necessary, ask for a career advice at the Federal Employment Agency whether you can get help in job search if you have certain ideas about the job.
Rather no, or then in the operation of no better candidates ‘get down’.
The chances will be smaller with every break
Try it. You just broke up training.
Sure, you’ll break it off again, it was for you.
Two mistakes are still tolerated, and three are no longer taking you training.
No, you can’t go through anything. Why should authorities and companies invest money in you when they worry that you are doing a retreat as soon as it becomes unpleasant.
The problem is, I’ve been going to the gym for 8 years 4-6x a week and can go through it very well.
Also from 7-11. I was a very busy student.
In 12/13. I’ve been in a class, and that doesn’t exist has left a deep scar, even with my parents I had many problems.
But I have become much more resilent and more disciplined in the 1 1/2 years
I think you should definitely keep trying. I’m sure you’ll find something you want.
Your hobbies don’t interest your employers. Your resume clearly shows that you have no perseverance.
