Do I need the match?

Sooner or later, I'll have to be circumcised (brit milah) for religious reasons. I'm 14. Do I need my mother's signature, or do I not need it for such minor procedures? I don't want my mother to find out about this. I know that you have to pay for it yourself if it's not necessary.

Under 18 a guardian must give his signature to the surgery.

Doesn’t your mother know you’re a Jew?

You need the signature of your parents.

But why can’t your mother know??

Are not such religious ceremonies always organized by parents? If that for religious reasons are not such religious ceremonies always organized by parents? If that is supposed to be for religious reasons anyway, why should the parents not know about it? If that’s any religious circumcision, there are other rules anyway. If you want a doctor to do this, you kindly need the consent, but then you can negotiate with it.

Parents must consent until 18. Without it, you don’t have to find a doctor who does it for religious reasons. Because it can only be done for medical reasons.

Until you’re 18, your parents must agree. I assume you’re not from a Jewish family. But that should not prevent you from talking to your mother. With 14 you are religious.

Word must say everything 🀦 even if you allow it, but please do not complain.

Above all, do you really hold an operation on your most sensitive part of the body just for a small intervention? Appearance and function change considerably. Find that one should consider

Why to complain after circumcision, and yes, circumcision is a minimal intervention

I’d advise you to decide for the religion of your choice first before you cut yourself. 2 months ago you wanted to become a Buddhist and it would be stupid, you would want to become a Rastafari in 2 months, whose religion will give you your foreskin πŸ˜‰.

Doesn’t matter what religion he wants in a few weeks. If he made his Brit Mila, he can still choose any other religion. Conversely, this does not work

You don’t want to say that “pre-sustaining religions” are more tolerant than the cutting?

Well, I would at least not be aware that it would be forbidden in any religion to be circumcised.

As long as you’re not open, why are you so eager to donate a skin ring?
