Do I have the wrong settings in Blender or am I underestimating the Blender file size?

Hello,

Out of curiosity, I downloaded a Blender project. The entire folder is about 3GB in size.

I have the following PC specs: Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Rtx 4070 Super & 64GB RAM.

Problem: Moving around is absolutely fine and smooth, but as soon as I let the timeline run, I get 1.5FPS.

Wrong setting or a "too bad" PC?

You underestimate Blender.

With so little knowledge you can’t get into Blender, but you’ve noticed that now.
