Do I have secure buyer protection with Paypal?

I accidentally discovered a site on the Internet called "willhaben". There are a few ads for all sorts of things and I came across a graphics card that I would like to buy. I've already contacted the seller. So we would like to do this personally and the seller wants Paypal as a payment option and now I am a bit skeptical because there is no platform in between so I have to trust him that he will really send me the graphics card when I have sent him the money via Paypal. Does anyone have any idea whether the buyer protection is still in place?

The buyer protection of Paypal is a cunning regulation – you have no legal claim.

“This decision on the application for PayPal purchaser protection is final. The right to PayPal because of this decision is excluded. “

Willwiesen.net is a pure ad portal similar to the ebaysm advertisements. Secure purchases are processed by cash payment upon pickup. Everything else is reckless.

The right answer! paypal is Exikutive and Judicative in one – so you have to leave as the determine. In normal banking one would say pre-reflective false collateral!

Yes, if it’s not sent out, this platform would send the money back.

Yes, that’s why I would never offer paypal as a seller. The buyer can always claim that he had not received the goods and returned the money.
