Sometimes, Steam masses the game registrations on client updates. That’s not dramatic. The library is still there. And if you click on “Install” Steam will only make a short check-sum check and only really download missing files again, the game will be re-registered and finished.

As long as this happens occasionally, no problem, but if that happens more often, check the logical file structure and the hard drive, or reinstall the Steam client once clean.

It is possible that your PC has been attacked by a virus that has removed the games from your Steam account. It could also be that there is a problem with Steam itself that has led to the games being gone. To make sure your PC is free from viruses, I recommend using a virus scan software and ensuring that your antivirus software is up-to-date. You should also check if there is a problem with Steam by checking on its support page or contacting Steam support. If you make sure your PC is free from viruses and the problem continues, I recommend contacting Steam Support to get more help.
