Do Germans have problems in Denmark?
I want to emigrate to Denmark. How are Germans treated there? I've heard that Germans aren't welcome there because of the past.

In Europe, cannabis has been widely used in society for decades. What about China? I'm asking because a Chinese student asked Chancellor Scholz how he should handle the legalization. He would soon be studying in Berlin. He had read that students in Germany were growing cannabis in their apartments, which is illegal in China. He…
Hello, today I, a 21-year-old female, received confirmation from the bank and the notary that I can move into my new apartment on January 2, 2025. I've been having nothing but stress with my dad since last month, ever since my mom is in a hospice and my dad and I are living together in…

After my balcony has been renovated, I would like to put some potted plants back on it. My wish is beautiful flowers and green all year round. The location has partial shade to full sun, often quite windy. It would be great if they survived our winters and were perennial.
It was 30 years ago.
At that time it was said that you have colleagues when I finish work at the end of the day, you are a stranger again.
Now I think that is much better. Although it was rare in Denmark, my language skills always made me well in contact and all were kind to me and not word-carg. Even wondering why I can agree on Danish is always a topic.
But you must not ask the Danes to adapt or do something extra. Then it should work.
Some people in Denmark are a little bit reluctant because of the past. Not all. But they should be careful. 😨
Well, I’m a bit split. I studied computer science in Denmark and worked there as a computer scientist after studying. So lived there. That was from 2000 to 2004. Man/wife isn’t happy to be immigrant. Especially if the foreigners remain among themselves and are happy to speak their language, but the national language can hardly at all. With the older generation I have never had problems at the time and today, really unfriendly to the anti-aliens are the young Danes. So aren’t different from the young Germans who think they’re gonna let the Macker hang out.
At least the national language should be powerful. Even though most Danes can speak German. Nevertheless, speaking the language, in my opinion, belongs to the good sound and has something to do with courtesy.
I speak and understand Danish fluently. I went to a Danish school for 10 years. Here German was and is the first foreign language.
Just want to emigrate, just because one/wife was on vacation for a few weeks in life, that’s just not enough.
So learn language, best looking at the Volkshochschule and work. Oh yes and apartment and this is very complicated, because rent apartments as we know it can be forgotten. There are hardly any apartments or houses for rent, man/wife buys a house or an apartment. It’s like that again. I earned about 45,000 DKr/month at the time (today it would be 6.031 €). But it was that I had to transfer the tax myself from the salary to the tax office. Church tax also declined, although I am not in the church and contribution to the union (which also pays each and every).

They’re talking weird and they don’t understand.
The Swedes say: Danish is not a language but a throat disease.
Something Danish Of course you should be able to speak. If you do not speak the language of a country, you will be looked at strangely in each country.
I was very common in Denmark (determined over 50 times) and never had problems.
I feel much better treated both there and in the Netherlands than in Germany.
As long as you don’t have a German flag and don’t talk to the Danes in German, everything is good.
The flag is governed by legislation. The language is bullshit.
