Do fancy mice need a running wheel and if so, what diameter should it have?

I want to get some fancy mice, but I want to do everything in a species-appropriate manner. I'm going to get 3-4 fancy mice and I don't know if they all need one or if one is enough for all of them. And what diameter should it be?

One impeller should be offered in itself, not every mouse accepts it, others ignore it. The diameter should be at least 25cm depending on the size of the mouse so that the mouse can run straight. Non-toxic plastic or wood wheels are suitable as material, but these should be repeated with non-toxic (!) Paint can be treated beforehand.

Yes Color mouse needs a wheel. But you don’t need one for any mouse, it would be enough if you want to offer them 2 wheels. The impeller should be made of wood, without gaps, best should be the racing track from cork at Gezoo and Rodipet you will find perfect wheels, they must be so big that they could just walk in it would say a diameter of 28cm+.

mine also liked to be two or three in one.

I would recommend you pick up 4 bucks because they are group animals and from 4 bucks they form a real group in which they feel comfortable.

I wish you much fun with little ones:))

I would pack 2 wheels in, diameter I think I was 28cm – at least big enough so that the mice do not have to bend the back when running.

Right, and best are wheels made of wood. They must also have no gaps, the running surface must be continuous. So not those with metal bars.

If you take it well, no pinewood because bad luck could emerge, there is, with bark… looks better, but is not better
