Now I want to do the A2, can I just extend it or do I have to pay for it in full?

You could extend your driving permit if you want to make the trailer E now.
If you want to push the A2 now, you will make a new driving license class. Consequently, a new theoretical and practical examination would also be required for you.
If you had made B and A2 together, it would have been better for you. Then you should have done only 1 theoretical exam. For the A2 there would have been additional questions and finished.
