Easy: Go to another bank if they don’t want you as customers. Banks are like sand by the sea and the DKB product is not so exciting that you have to go there.

They rejected you, and that’s what they can do.

The bank will not have missed the fact that you have started several calls with slightly different details.

That will be the reason for rejection and that would be understandable. You don’t want to have a customer so flexible with the truth.

Try the ING Diba. The opening took me 1 day. The current account has exactly the same conditions as the DKB. They even advertise with a 150€ bonus. You can read everything here

You can see the difference of 400 euros to 700 euros, right?

The EUR 700 is the prerequisite for free account management for customers aged 28 and over. The account management is also free of charge for customers under 28 years of age.

The reason for rejection will be another.

Banks can choose their customers. You have the right to have a current account under EU law. If you already have one, NO bank has to set up another account. (soughly not at all)
