I still have a number of silk curtains from the previous owners that I no longer need. is this for fabric recycling or is there still interest in something like this? ebay makes no sense as postage costs from switzerland are very high…. does anyone know anything about this?

Loading...I've never seen anyone throw out trash, but it's really sad how much trash is lying around. I don't understand how people can be so selfish. Do you think there are other reasons for this besides people throwing it out or something?

Do you also find it incomprehensible when strangers give you rude comments just because you throw rubbish on the ground in the city where there is already rubbish lying around? I mean, I could understand why people like that get upset when plastic is thrown into nature, but that was asphalt, so no marine animals…

Why can the molecules of water and the trace gases carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide absorb thermal radiation, but not the much more abundant, climate-neutral components N2 and O2?
In the last city I lived in, there was trash everywhere. People just threw empty bottles, chip packets, etc. outside. The city always cleans up the trash regularly, but after a week or two, everything was full of trash again. Is it normal to drop an old tissue, a piece of chewing gum wrapper, etc….
Why don’t you call a social department store if she’d be interested in it as a donation, sometimes they even pick it up. Maybe you’ll find more to give up so it’s worth it.

Give an an announce in your daily newspaper. They are usually free when you use the heading “to give away”. There are many people who cannot afford such valuable curtains. :

You know what I always do in such cases?
I’ll put things on the door and make a note:
to give away.
The next morning things are usually gone.
There are so many poor people who are really happy about it.
And you did a good work;-)
good idea! only unfortunately we live in such a small kaff, there is no one coming by :o)
call at your daily newspaper and display; ..”to give away.”…they cost nix and you’ll get all the grump that’s still to be used, go…;-)

you have no flea market,
only so organized with stands etc…. is too cumbersome to me, especially if I possibly stand for hours the feet in the mouth and nobody interested in it… I would never buy that…
