Discord: Permanently away – how?

For me, as a Discord user, it's normal to use the app on my phone or PC. When I open the app, I'm shown as online. If I don't do anything for about 10 minutes, I automatically switch to away. If I close the app, I'm shown as offline after about 100 seconds.

However, one user in particular currently catches my attention because she is shown as absent practically all day long, morning, night, every second, except when she is writing something, in which case she is shown as online on her mobile phone for that time and then immediately changes to absent.

I doubt she's doing it manually. But why does it happen? A PC in sleep/standby mode probably won't see it, and Discord will probably show you as offline at some point. I also doubt she leaves her PC running all day, 24/7. So, how does it happen? Maybe those Microsoft Surface things? Is Discord still open and the thing just closed?

So if I’m absent or busy then I’ll have the PC overnight to get back at any time

If the PC is easy and you have the status on absent and on the phone as online then you are absent as long as the pc runs out (e.g. with birld umbrella, which runs with me also 18h a day even if I’m on the net) and then you have that too

Hello,

You can set your status yourself. Simply click on your profile image. You can choose between online, absent, please do not disturb or invisible. Then you will always be displayed until you change it again.

The person is likely to be absent.

Best regards

Oh, probably a device is all the time. That doesn’t work differently.
