Discord ban – Why? How? What?
I received a notification from Discord support stating that my account is restricted until tomorrow because I allegedly violated the Child Safety Policy 26 days ago. However, I'm not aware of what violation I might have committed. Therefore, I have a few questions:
- Will the possibility of my Discord account being banned for further rule violations expire after the restricted use period due to my violation?
- How can I find out which message led to my temporary ban, especially if a message has already been deleted?
- Given that my Discord account was only restricted for one day, does this indicate that my offense is relatively minor, or are there other factors that might be at play here?
I would be very grateful for any help or insight into this matter.
(PS: No, of course, I didn't break the rules. With a topic like child safety, I would know. Answers like, "You must know why you were banned…" don't help anyone in this situation. The restriction on my account was most likely a mistake—but there's little I can do about it now.)

That would be possible. But since it’s only 1 day, I can’t imagine it’s because that’s why this is punished with a Perma Ban. You can sign up with the support or you just wait until tomorrow what would even be the shorter version because you like to leave time in the support.

If you really don’t know what message you’ve got, you can contact the Discord Support. They can tell you what message it was.
You haven’t been banished yet, just “punished.” A kind of warning. If you are warned several times, you can be banned.
There is also the possibility that someone has reported your message and the algorithm has warned you about it.
Either way, if you think you’ve been wrongly warned, you’ll be in discord support. They can, if you’re really not mistaken, delete the listing from their list so that you won’t be banished if you really do something.

It’s like a police register. You do not have any negative consequences after that and are not monitored more strongly, but the violation is saved. If you go through any other rule breaks, your sentence will be extended every time. With too many rule breaks, your account can be locked.
