Differences/similarities between Democritus' and Dalton's atomic model?
Hey. For school, we have to write down the similarities and differences between the atomic models mentioned in the question, but I'm having trouble getting to grips with it. Does anyone know some similarities/differences?
Thanks:)
hmm, The model of Democrit actually had no details. It was above all in contrast to the predominant model that matter could be divided more and more without a lower limit. And democrat, or Leukip, said that there is a limit where no further division is possible, the atoms.
On the other hand, Dalton had a more extensive concept for atoms, elements, reactions and compounds.
