Difference between shrimp and crab?

A new Indian-Chinese restaurant has opened near me. On their Lieferando page, they offer fried rice with crab and shrimp, but according to Google, they're both the same.

What could be the difference now?

Takasha has already answered the question perfectly. Crab meat comes from the scissors of a crab. But it can also be the whole tail of a small animal that lives in the northern seas of our earth. You probably also think about North Sea or Ice Sea crabs.

As you can see, it's a tricky number. And I remember the merchandise that once a big dealer in Europe (Heiploeg) gave me years ago.

So in doubt ask in the restaurant. But you can see it at the latest when you eat it.

In gastronomy, the small shrimps are often known as "rabbs" ("North Sea Crabs" from the crabs or from the crabs cocktail) and the larger scampiss (Norwegian lobster) or giant shrimps are called as shrimps.
