Die Straßen blitzen endlos = Personifikation?
Der dick markierte Vers wird auf diversen Internetseiten als Personifikation eingestuft. Ich frage mich, ob dies a) so richtig ist und b) worauf diese Einstufung zurückzuführen ist. Meiner Meinung nach werden die Straßen ja nicht mit einer menschlichen Eigenschaft verbunden. Wie seht ihr das? Vielen Dank!
Der Bahnhof?! Wo?! Gespenstisch stummt mein Fragen.
Die Straßen blitzen endlos, Schnur um Schnur,
Und alle führen, alle, in die Irre.

I think it is a personification, such as ‘the time flies’. People can fly as little as lightning. Also characteristics that people cannot be classified are often classified as a personification.
I don’t think it’s from this line, but from the next.
And all (street) lead, all (people), to the wrong.
Because streets can’t lead people to misery, but apparently do, it’s a personification.
