First of all: With most pills you have up to 12 hours of time to take them without losing the protection at all. Whether you take the pill before or after sex doesn’t matter. Was it longer than 12 hours? Then it would be important to know what week you’re taking. Not always a forgotten pill is a risk of pregnancy. Depending on the week, the error can be corrected without losing protection. Read the best in your package leaflet, which is to be missed. Without far details, we cannot give you a general answer here.

Isn’t anyone reading the package leaf these days?

Nix for ungood – but slowly the idea is that the manufacturers save on paper and leave the use information…

As a rule, all questions concerning the contraceptive effect, taking, typical side effects, interactions and taking errors etc. are answered in the use information.

Each pill has a tolerance for accepting a forgotten pill or separated by diarrhea/breaking. If you take the pill within this time window, the protection will be preserved.

Moreover, not every fault leads to loss of protection. It depends on the pill you take, in which week the error has happened and, of course, whether you correct it (e.g. by adjusting the intake scheme).

Happy for you!

If you can’t read, you could also use condoms. However, one should think about it. 😉

But it’s too late for the mistake of taking to notice only after sex…

Then the question of pregnancy would not arise. Do you understand or not yet?

You could…

Yes – but what does this have to do with this question?

Condoms can also be used without pill.

You can take the pill up to 12 hours later. Otherwise, in your package leaflet, there is exactly what is to be done with a mistake.

What is important is mainly the week you were taking. Really bad are taking errors especially in the first week.

You can always be pregnant, even despite pill. Take pill + condom and you are on the 99.9% safe side.

Sex can lead to pregnancy.

So yes.

What week of taking? How long have you forgotten? Have you looked into the package leaf?

If you have your fertile days, you could actually get pregnant. We don’t know where you are in your cycle.

You should get the pill for it very quickly….

She usually takes the pill according to the question. So she has neither fertile days nor a cycle.
