I've always asked myself why people get upset when dogs are eaten in China, but eating chickens or fish or other animals is okay?

And I find the excuse that dogs are pets disrespectful… I don't think there's any really plausible reason for that?!

The question is not without!! I’d say it’s just habits and how to get it impressed since birth.

Other example: Turkey…there is not eaten pork

India: the cow is holy

There’s no reason. Depends on what is common in a culture. The western world thinks only dogs, cats and a few other animals that are kept in cages are worth staying alive. How lovely chickens are, nobody wants to know.

So I don’t care about it because I think other countries are different customs.

With us, pigs, chickens and cattle have prevailed in other countries. We would have to learn a lot more what is normal for us elsewhere and of course vice versa.

It’s just related to the habit.

But that’s the reason. Dogs and cats have grown to our hearts, we love and they are our joy and comfort and our family member. We can’t think of battle.

But you can’t relate to all people. You should try and see if supply and demand regulates this.

But why? Because they’re so smart? What properties do they have to distinguish from pigs or cows? The border between pet and farm animal is completely arbitrary. In the same way, pigs could have conquered our hearts and become our pets.

Dogs and people have a very special relationship. No other animal is connected to the dog and the other way. That the dog loves me, you say that you are sin. The dog remained faithful to me in the storm, the person not even in the wind.

Cutur species do not always match each other. The ones who have learned, ‘Hunds are not food’

Because dogs were never really food for people. That’s what they really taste.

Have you ever tried a dog?

No, but I know from safe sources that dog tastes like he smells. This is why the meat is very strongly seasoned

Dog tastes like wild meat. It is, however, probably the food they get and perhaps the breed.

It is actually used exclusively for a breed specifically for it, only that is legal. It can’t just be consumed by every street dog.

From all those who eat dog so far, the report came that it tastes as it smells. I hear from Wild the first time.

Yeah, I mean that. Street dogs are untreated and eat everything possible. This is exactly the same for beef. If you graze cattle on the pasture, the meat tastes, unlike the meat of cattle, the cheap food for which the rainforest is wooded. Or a good example: veal. calves are fed extra with low-iron lining. So there are 3 different types of veal: The very bright veal comes from the white mast. They are fed with a low-iron milk exchanger. Then there is a slightly darker one, which then gets a milk exchanger which contains a little more iron, or some are additionally fed with some grass. And then there is where the animal welfare is more important than the taste of the meat. They then get only natural grasses that have a particularly high iron value.

Where it’s already macaber to talk about animal welfare when you kill an animal (which isn’t even grown!) without need.

No, meat from predators and omnivorous animals is also edible. Pig and poultry, for example, both living at least omnivor. Or fish, often pure carnivores.

Bear should also be very tasty.

Without ever having eaten dog or wanting to eat, I would suspect as a rule of thumb that only the meat of animals that feed themselves purely vegetarian is edible.
Perhaps this rule applies only to mammals.

Then thank you for the info: I have never been to one of the few places where dogs are usually offered in China. But already in many areas where it is rather sharply seasoned and love these kitchens especially.

Kugelflitz

Yeah, less. Doesn’t mean that other meat is unworn there, but dog is more intensely overwhelmed.

Silo123

Is it going to be in the area where you eat dog, because other meat is less seasoned? Partly! will also be strongly seasoned in China, depending on the procedure!

Because dogs have a different value and use for us humans, so it is stamped as inhumane

Well, the definition is arbitrary. What properties do they have to make for us more valuable than pigs?
