Did the interview go well or badly?
I just had an interview for an apprenticeship and I don't know if it went well or badly.
I arrived on time and I think I greeted the people present in a friendly and appropriate manner, but the very first question threw me off track.
When I was asked to introduce myself, I stammered a bit and only briefly mentioned my name, my age, my grade and school, and two hobbies.
I was asked some really stupid questions, like whether I liked cheese or why I missed x days of school, as if it were abnormal to be sick for three days. I'm also worried that I came across as conceited because I listed three strengths but only two weaknesses, even though I simply couldn't think of any other weaknesses that wouldn't make me look completely shitty. 😭
I wasn't able to ask many questions of my own, just one. Unfortunately, the opportunity didn't arise and I didn't dare ask any more questions myself.
The interview itself lasted just 15 minutes, and I was told they'd get back to me the next day. At the end, I was asked if I had any other interviews recently or in the near future, and I honestly said that I actually had two more today and others lined up, and that I'd had a few in the last few weeks, and that I could even sign a training contract for one position, but I'd like to check out other employers before deciding on a company.
Looking back, a simple "yes" would have been enough, but when I'm nervous, I always chatter so much and never know when enough is enough.
I thanked him for the conversation, but somehow I had the feeling that it was totally shit.
Edit: I got an acceptance 😭
Doesn’t sound positive, but if you have so many other interviews, you don’t care.
Yes, but even if I see the thing a lot more loose than my first interview, for example, it annoys me anyway
Does not sound very positively honestly
Hahah sry this cheese question I can no longer 🤣. But unfortunately not as good as you say here. Now, at least you can do better next time. You have experience now.
