The body mass index, in short BMI, no longer serves as a basis for assessment of the medical weight status during the medical examination of the Bundeswehr. The BMI was replaced by the WHtR (English Waist-to-Hight Ratio) measurement method. The WHtR describes the ratio between waist circumference and body size and, in contrast to the body mass index, is more meaningful with regard to the distribution of body fat and the health relevance of overweight.

By evaluating health risks, such as body construction and belly fat content, the WHtR measurement method is therefore better suited as an index than compared to the BMI. For the BMI has proven to have a low indication of the health-relevant causes of an overweight or underweight, as, for example, very muscular men and women show a high BMI.

You can find weight tables herehttps://stellstest-bundeswehr.de/bundeswehr-Stellentest/bundeswehr-aerztliche-prüfung/

Without size and other information, you cannot make a statement.

Short and short:

Less eating = calorie deficit

More sports/movement.

Do not go after BMI but after WHTR or KFA .

BMI says I’m over it. 😂

You don’t have to “take off” before us, so don’t need to write what you’re currently doing or what your current WHTR is, as well as @SuperJuhnibert4 writes correctly.

If you are clearly below 130.9kg and your weight fits halfway to body size, then you have good chances.

By the way, some rounds daily on the H-Bahn cause true miracles:)

I just sent you a link.

Of course, it is a difference whether jmd. weighs 130kg at a body size of 1.55 or at 1.95….

Your grades, or your degree, have a logical influence on which career group is eligible for you.

If you don’t want to be a general inspector of the Bundeswehr, and if you want to get the team’s career group, you’ll get it.

Maybe you still have the opportunity to work on your notes as well as on your weight before you apply…

I’m still, just with the smartphone on the way, but can look at the computer for you when I’m at home….

Out of my stomach, I’d say it fits.

If you were in my former battalion, I would of course like to provide you with instructors who “help” you to get to your ideal weight :).

But seriously, you don’t have to take a pattern tomorrow, so please do something about getting a good weight and then it fits….

Depends on size and general health condition. The WHTR is decisive, no longer the BMI.
