the sender sent me a package.
The package has a tracking number but I can't track it on DHL because it says it's incorrect or there isn't one in the number.

Why does eBay say, when you list items for sale, that packages with a tracking number cost €5.49, even though every DHL package with a tracking number costs €6.99? What's wrong with that? You can't select €6.99 shipping.

Hello! I've set up the DHL app to deliver all my packages to a Packstation. I've selected a preferred delivery date for one of my packages, and my question is whether it should be delivered to my address or to the Packstation. LG
The “Sendungsnummer” for parcels is only for internal purposes of DHL. As a customer you cannot track them and there is no proof of delivery.
A package is treated like a letter…….

that is only one number, no more; no less
there is no trakking number. that is not insured
Only packages can be tracked, parcels not.
At DHL anyway.
