DHL package contents damaged by parcel courier, what to do?
I sold a Playstation 3 privately which worked perfectly and was of course padded and packaged as securely as possible.
However, the customer complained that it was junk according to a video.
And now I'm wondering what the best thing to do is and whether I can claim compensation from DHL?
Therefore it was not my fault that the damage was caused, but rather the console broke during shipping due to poor handling.
Which annoys me quite a bit because it shows how sloppy DHL is with the packages

That wasn't good enough. The packaging must be designed so that it maintains a multiple free fall of 1.5 mtr height and protects the contents accordingly.
DHL then calls for "deficient packaging" and will refuse liability

If you haven't documented the packaging, you can't do anything. DHL will claim that the packaging was not safe enough.
Or the buyer wants to pull you off and send you back his defective console.
So I've already documented it somewhere out and from them something there you can see that it was padded with styrofoam on than walls the console was covered with the nubs paddedfomie and the air pillows dinger and paper were just so in as padding.
Give it somehow for me still chances of the type has stopped even now about a week only after getting at mkr reported that he has problems with the console and I sell no one which is defective.

I don't think you can call DHL. I think the buyer wants to take you off. I would cancel the communication
