DHL delivery to neighbors?

I selected "deliver to a neighbor" with DHL. Would they ring my doorbell first, or would they go straight to the neighbor? Is there any way I can change that, like by calling the DHL hotline? Because I saw that I have to accept the package in person, or should I just wait at the neighbor's 😂 and say it's my package.

If you have to accept the package personally, then a delivery to the neighbor is not possible at all. He'll have to ring right with you and you shouldn't be able to book a neighborhood delivery.
